1 Thessalonians 4:17. “Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord.”
This verse is what gives the born-again believer hope today! The word caught up in the original Greek language is harpazo. Translated into Latin is Rapturo which is where we get our English word rapture from. Jesus in John 14:1-3 laid out perfectly the rapture for us. He promised that He will go and prepare a place for us and will come again for us!
Today in a world that is all falling into place just as God's prophetic word said it would, we as remnant believers cling to His word. Our only hope in a world filled with lawlesness, chaos, wars and rumors of wars, pestilence, is the imminent appearing of our Savior Jesus Christ at ANY MOMENT.
In the meantime we are to be watching and busy telling the world about Jesus and that He is the only way to heaven (John 14:6).
